The Lee's Summit Junior Basketball Association (LSJBA) was formed to:

• Promote and provide a means of fun and challenging basketball competition for young men within the R-7 School District.
• Encourage and support the display of sportsmanship by child and adult alike and to further the development of mental and moral character of participants.
• Elevate the standard of basketball play within the R-7 School District and to aid those children interested in working towards potential participation in school districtteams.
• Help our youth develop their ability to work together within the spirit of cooperation and teamwork.
